«أحلام السلطان تيبو» السرد التاريخي بين الحقيقة والتأريخ

يتناول البحث بالتحليل مسرحية أحلام السلطان تيبو، التي کتبها جيريش کارناد، عام 1997، کنوع من الخطاب المضاد للامبريالية الاستعمارية، ورغبة منه في إعادة کتابة التاريخ من وجهة نظر مختلفة عما تم تدوينه في کتب المستشرقين عن شخصية تيبو. ولذا نجد أن الحبکة المسرحية تدور حول السلطان تيبو وإبرازة کشخصية عظيمة؛ وذلک من خلال رسم شخصية تيبو بوصفه أبًا عظيمًا، وزوجًا حنونًا، ورجل دولة محنک وذو عقلية تجارية. ومما لا شک فيه أن کارناد استطاع من خلال مسرحيته أحلام السلطان تيبو أن يخلق شخصية مختلفة للسلطان تيبو عن تلک الصورة النسقية التي قام المستعمر الغربي بترسيخها داخل الأذهان.
The research discusses the play the Dreams of Tipu Sultan, which had been written by Girish Karnad, in 1997, as a kind of anti-imperialist discourse, and his desire to rewrite the history from a different point of view from what was written in the books of the orientalists about the character of Tipu. Therefore, we find that the theatrical plot revolves around the Tipu Sultan and describing him as a great character. This appears by depicting Tipu ` character as a great father, kind husband, and a business-minded statesman. There is no doubt that Karnad was able, through his play Dreams of Tipu Sultan, to create a different character for Tipu Sultan than the systemic image that the Western colonialist established within the minds.
