واقع تمكين المرأة في العالم العربي THE REALITY OF EMPOWERMENT WOMEN IN THE ARAB WORLD

أصبحت قضايا المرأة ودورها في الحياة السياسية من القضايا المعاصرة التي تشغل الباحثين كونها تمثل نصف المجتمع, لكن المجتمعات عاشت لفترات طويلة لا تعي حقيقة دورها ولا تمنحها حقوقها العادلة مقارنة بنصف المجتمع الآخر مما أثر في مشاركتها في الحياة العامة، فالمساواة بين الجنسين وتمكين النساء هو حق أساسي من حقوق الإنسان نصت عليه الدساتير والمعاهدات الدولية ووقعت عليه العديد من الدول، ومع ذلك, ترتبط مشاركة المرأة فى الحياة السياسية بظروف المجتمع الذى تعيش فيه, حيث تتوقف درجة تمكين المرأة على مقدار ما يتمتع به مجتمعها من حرية وديمقراطية من الناحية السياسية، وعلى ما يمنحه لها من حريات اجتماعية لممارسة هذا الدور، ولذا, فإنه لا يمكن مناقشة المشاركة السياسية للمرأة بمعزل عن الظروف الاجتماعية والسياسية التي يمر بها المجتمع، فعلى الرغم من المكاسب التي تحققت في السنوات الأخيرة على مستوى تمكين المراة في الوطن العربي إلا إنه لا يزال هناك العديد من المعوقات والصعوبات التي تقف عقبة أمام تمكين النساء.
Abstract:
Women's issues and their role in political life have become one of the contemporary issues that concern researchers, as they represent half of the society, but societies have lived for long periods without realizing their role and do not grant them their rights compared to the other half of society, which affected their participation in public life, as gender equality and the empowerment of women is a fundamental right It is one of human rights stipulated in constitutions and international treaties and signed by many countries. Nevertheless, the participation of women in political life is linked to the conditions of the society in which they live, where the degree of women's empowerment depends on the degree of freedom and democracy that her society enjoys in political terms, and on what is granted to her by Social freedoms to exercise this role, and therefore it is not possible to discuss the political participation of women in isolation from the social and political conditions that society is going through.
