9- التحديات البيئية والآفاق المستقبلية للتنمية المستدامة في مصر

   إن التنمية المستدامة لا تمثل ظاهرة أو اهتمًاماً جديًداً بل هي مطلب قديم ، ومنذ سنوات مضت کانت التنمية ترکز على قضايا الرفاهية الاجتماعية في الخمسينات وعلى تجاوز مشکلات التنمية في الستينيات ، ثم على الحد من الفقر وتلبية الحاجات الأساسية في السبعينيات ، ثم ظهر مفهوم ومصطلح التنمية المستدامة کرد طبيعي على التخوف الناجم عن تدهور البيئة الناتج عن الأسلوب التقليدي للتنمية الذي يقوم على التنامي السريع للإنتاج دون اعتبار للآثار السلبية التي يخلفها هذا التنامي على الإنسان وعلى الموارد الطبيعية وعلى البيئة ، ومن هنا ظهر في التسعينات مفهوم التنمية المستدامة .
   وتناقش الدراسة أهم الجهود المبذولة في مصر للحد من التدهور البيئي بتأثيراته السلبية على المجتمع ، ومدى فعالية هذه الجهود في إيجاد بيئة نظيفة تساعد الأجيال الحالية على إحداث التنمية المنشودة ، وفتح الطريق أمام الأجيال القادمة للحفاظ على هذه الجهود وتنميتها .
   وتوصى الدراسة بالتقليل قدر الإمکان من الآثار السلبية لتلوث البيئة في مصر من أجل إحداث تنمية مستدامة وفعَّالة من خلال إعداد برامج تدريبية ميدانية لجميع العاملين في مجال الصناعة ، واستهلاک الموارد باعتدال وکفاءة ومراعاة الأسعار الأفضل للموارد والاستخدام الأکثر کفاءة لها في مجال الزراعة ، وضرورة التوجه من قِبل وزارة التربية والتعليم لوضع مناهج دراسية تتعلق بالوعي البيئي ، وتخصيص بعض الدروس للتوعية من أجل المساهمة في الحفاظ على البيئة کتوصيات على المستوي المجتمعي .
   sustainable development is not a phenomenon or a new interest but an old demand . Since years ago , development focused on social welfare in the fifties and overcome the problems of development in the sixties and then on reducing poverty and meeting the basic needs in the seventies , Then the concept and term of sustainable development emerged as a natural response to the fear of environmental deterioration resulting from the traditional method of development which is based on the rapid growth of production without regard to the negative effects of this development on human and the natural resources and the environment , hence the concept of sustainable development emerged in the nineties .
   The study discusses the most important efforts in Egypt to reduce environmental degradation with its negative effects on the community and the effectiveness of these efforts in creating a clean environment that helps the present generations to achieve the desired development and open the way for future generations to preserve these efforts and development .
   The study recommends minimizing the negative effects of environmental pollution in Egypt in order to achieve sustainable and effective development through the preparation of field training programs for all workers in the field of industry and the consumption of resources in moderation and efficiency and encouraging the best prices for resources and the most efficient use in agriculture field and the need to go by the Ministry of Education to develop the curriculum related to environmental awareness and the allocation of some lessons to raise awareness in order to contribute to the preservation of the environment as recommendations at the community level .
