الشائعات وأثرها في مسألة مطران إثيوبيا القبطي عام 1937م

ما أن احتلت إيطاليا إثيوبيا في عام 1936 حتى بدأت في استخدام الشائعات کسلاح يهدف لفصل الکنيسة الإثيوبية عن الکنيسة القبطية المصرية، وذلک لتقويض النفوذ المصري في إثيوبيا.
وکانت الشائعات التي ظهرت حول مطران إثيوبيا عام 1937 حدًّا فاصلًا في تاريخ العلاقات بين الکنيستين القبطية والإثيوبية، ومثار جدل لا حصر له. ومن هذا المنطلق تعود أهمية البحث إلى تناول تلک المسألة، والتي کان لها أثر کبير في المجتمع القبطي والإثيوبي آنذاک، خاصة في ظل انتشار الشائعات التي کانت تدور حول موافقة مطران إثيوبيا القبطي على فصل الکنيسة الإثيوبية من الکنيسة المصرية.
ويهدف البحث إلى محاولة الکشف عن الأسباب الکامنة وراء الشائعات التي انتشرت حول مطران إثيوبيا، ودور إيطاليا في إثارة الشائعات حول موافقة "الأنبا کيرلس" ـ المطران القبطي للکنيسة الإثيوبية آنذاک ـ على انفصال الکنيسة الإثيوبية من الکنيسة القبطية، وموقف الکنيسة القبطية والرأي العام القبطي والإثيوبي من تلک المسألة، مع إيضاح موقف الحکومة المصرية إزاء تلک الشائعات، ومحاولة التصدي لها.

Abstract:
After Italy occupied Ethiopia in 1936, it began to use rumors as a weapon designed to separate the Ethiopian church from the Coptic Church, in order to undermine Egyptian influence in Ethiopia. The rumors that appeared about the Archbishop of Ethiopia in 1937 were a watershed in the history of the relations between the Coptic and Ethiopian Churches, and infinite controversy arose.
Significance of study: From this previous premise we return to dealing with this issue which had a great impact on the Coptic and Ethiopian society at that time, especially in light of the spread of rumors that revolve around the approval of the Coptic Ethiopian Archbishop to separate the Ethiopian Church from the Egyptian Church.
Aims of study: The research aims to attempt to reveal the reasons behind the rumors that circulated around the Archbishop of Ethiopia. It aims to reveal Italy's role in raising rumors about the approval of "St. Cyril" - the Coptic Archbishop of the Ethiopian Church at the time - on the separation of the Ethiopian Church from the Coptic Church. The study aims to identify the position of the Coptic Church and the Coptic and Ethiopian public opinion on this issue while clarifying the position of the Egyptian government regarding these rumors and trying to confront them.
